Simple Guacamole Recipe with Cilantro & Lime Essential Oils

Holy Guacamole! September 16th is National Guacamole Day so in honor of this quirky national holiday, I made some guacamole infused with my special ingredient: essential oils!

Did you know Guacamole dates back all the way to the 1500's? The Aztecs used to make a spread with avocados called "ahuaca-mulli" which means "avocado sauce"! Learn more facts about National Guacamole Day here ➡ www.Nationaltoday.com/national-guacamole-day

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice

  • 1 clove of minced garlic

  • 1–2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced

  • ¼ cup onion, chopped (Tip: When cutting onions, place an opened bottle of Thieves Essential Oil next to you to not shed a tear! Try it out- it works!!)

  • 2-3 drops of Lime Vitality Essential Oil (I only recommend Young Living Essential Oils when ingesting essential oils)

  • 1-2 drops of Cilantro Vitality Essential Oil (I only recommend Young Living Essential Oils when ingesting essential oils)

  • A pinch of salt

  • A pinch of black pepper

  • Avocado Tool (Buy Here; Optional)

Directions:

  • Add all of the other ingredients and stir until it is all mixed together

  • Enjoy with the tortilla chips of your choosing
